About us

Welcome to Bayou Children’s Dental Center located in Houma, Louisiana. With over 40 years of combined dental experience, Dr. Claudia Cavallino, Dr. Paige Gaudet and Dr. Nicole Boxberger work together as a team striving to provide their young patients with the highest standard of dental care available.

We proudly offer the latest treatments and technologies available to ensure that the children, adolescents and special needs patients that visit our office, achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles that will last a lifetime.

Our mission statement is to provide our patients and their families with personal, individualized, quality-focused care resulting in a superior experience for all.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Claudia Cavallino

Dr. Claudia Cavallino attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She went on to complete a pediatric dental residency at LSU and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since 2004. Dr. Cavallino completed her board certification in 2012.

In addition to providing dental care for children, teens, and special needs patients, Dr. Cavallino lectures for LSU Dental students as part of a part-time faculty appointment. She also serves as the pediatric dentist on the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial team at Ochsner Hospital and belongs to the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. She was appointed by the governor to serve on the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry.

Dr. Cavallino was selected to participate in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Leadership Institute in 2016 and received her certificate in 2018.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Paige Gaudet

Dr. Paige Gaudet has been providing dental care for children, adolescents, and special needs patients since 2005. After graduating from Louisiana State University with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, she continued her training by completing a pediatric dental residency program at LSU and the Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Gaudet is a member of such professional organizations as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Bayou District Dental Society.

Dr. Gaudet maintains staff privileges at Gulf Coast Surgery Center in Houma.

She is married to Dr. Steven Gaudet and is the proud mother of twin boys: Sam and Reece.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Jasmin Gosey

Dr. Jasmin Gosey is a proud Creole New Orleans native, raised on the Westbank and now living in Mid-City. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College. She went on to complete her pediatric dental residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, receiving advanced training in behavior management, sedation, and comprehensive care for children of all backgrounds.

Dr. Gosey also holds a Certificate in Public Health, strengthening her commitment to prevention, education, and community wellness. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Louisiana Dental Association. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Gosey believes trust is the foundation of excellent care. She is dedicated to creating positive early dental experiences that help children feel confident, safe, and proud of their smiles. A proud mother of twin boys, Julio and Jose, Dr. Gosey brings empathy, patience, and cultural awareness to every family she serves.

"Absolutely love it. Today was my son's (just turned 2) 1st visit w/ a dentist. For the first experience, it was very nice. The staff was nice. The Dr. Cavallino was super nice, thorough and very concerned with my son's well being. My son loved the playful environment. The cleaning area (has 5 tables) did get a little tense when another kid started freaking out during his cleaning but I find the staff dealt w/ him appropriately.
